We are masters of the unsaid words, but slaves of those we let slip out. ~Winston Churchill

Holiday Life
Time... energy, I wish I had both of them at the same time. That is what is needed for a blog. Or maybe it is the creativity and need to write things down. I have spent the last week on holidays. Christmas holidays to be specific. We have done many things and hung out with lots of people but nothing has grabbed my inspiration to write something awesome, cool, fictional with a splash of sarcasm. I guess it has just been a great time with family doing what seems to be nothing. We are not stuck down with the day to day tasks of working, school, making lunches, reading with the kids, signing papers, going to weekly programs, and doing all the other stuff to survive the day, week, month, and year. I wish I could capture that time, moment, mind set, to just be in every moment and taking in all the sounds, sights, and smells, with out neglecting the sight for future enjoyments and requirements. People intrigue me. I enjoy watching them. Observing them. I admit that most of my learning in life has been from the good or bad choices people have made in their life. Does this make me prone from bad mistakes... choices, no not at all. Does this make me perfect.... no not at all... and I am glad for that. I would not be able to learn from mine and others mistakes if that were the case. I would not work at being a better husband and father. At trying to improve at riding my bike faster and harder up hills. And take the time to improve my skills and treatment of patients in my work as a dental hygienist. Wow for having no energy or writing fancy the words have come and fallen from my fingers. Now to bed.

J.R.R. Tolkien
He was a skilled writer of fiction, be it, almost fairy tale like. His books have become great epic movies (The Lord of the Rings). And The Hobbit has made it first appreance on the big screen.
But does the author himself look like a Hobbit, Mr. Bilbo Baggins.
Did he write the books with him as the central character? Or did Peter Jackson pay eulogy to the great author by portraying Bilbo Baggins as J.R.R. Tolkien?
Just Wondering!

Pre Dinner Chaos
We are setting the table for dinner and my son is being very loud. KAeden is making schreeching noises and Livi is acting a little like a drama queen because she doesn't want to take her vitamin. Angie is cleaning up the kitchen and she is verbally keeping the troop moving toward dinner. Pip is eating out of the garbage which is irritating Angie and I am observing. Relaxing by the window knowing that this will all calm down in no time. We are off to the table and life will reset.

Gingerbread Decorating
On a boring Sunday afternoon I decided we should make gingerbread men. Angie was sick and laid up on the couch with her medication,... a book, and the kids were restless.
We decided that today when the kids get off from school, it would be the time to decorate the gingerbread men and other gingerbread figures.

The Table
The Finished Products (some)
It was a good time of decorating and eating candy. The kids have hit the age where they can actually concentrate and do a project without our help.

Pippa
The Dog
I enjoy shredding paper, cardboard, and shoes. Stealing teddy bears from kids and pulling their clothes off of them. As much as I love dog food, I heartedly enjoy eating cat crap, garbage scraps and licking the dishes in the dishwasher. I have a bed of my own, but would rather take up yours and attempt to crowd you out. I love simple games of tug a war and going for long runs. Just when you wish to relax for the evening, I come alive and bark until someone notices me. I am the family dog.

Moments
Stirring inside the deep lagoon.
The boy planned to jump with out a splash.
He glanced left.
He glanced right.
And with one spring.
His muscles twitched.
Launching him airborne.
High.
The wind carried him.
The air tickled him.
He was as he wished to be.
A bird.
And.
In a moment.
A Fish.

SORRY
Sorry for the hurt and mistrust that arose the night the telephone rang.
We tried to make right without any light of the words and the meaning they clang.
We love you for you, although our views maybe miscued, between life, love and God.
You are the joy in our day, the planner when array, and the adoration of our children's amaze.
Our protects for the two, came out just like poo.
And we do hope that you can forgive us.
We just wanted to know that discernment was bold when dealing with little one's ages.
(To you out there... Sorry! God has not taken it off my heart since the time it happened, but I didn't know how to say it. We have not showed it a great deal lately but you are very special to us and we don't want things to get in between that, which it has. Our views on life are not always in line, but I pray that we can have open communication to talked about those differences and hopefully understand where we all come from in our lives. Life is not always laughter and sunshine and the first people we should be able to share that with is family.)

The Three
The table was round and black five men sat there pondering their reality to the situation that lay before them Non had been to the location before and non wished to go it alone
Bob was the reporter in the group he wrote daily reports in the Tribune al a Vancouver and loved the life of danger beer and STD's He stood 6'2'' and was a skinny as a sign pole on a hot summer day He wore the typical reporter hat and always kept one condom stapled to the inside cover since his doctor informed him that no woman should ever touch him again because of the overwhelming population of viruses
Steve sat to Bob's left but some what despised Bob for his dirty life style and cruel treatment of the opposite sex Steve was the moral life of the group Steve questioned every decision with a moral sense of the good for the group and with a deep confiction of something bigger than him This probably came from Steve's up bringing
Steve can fondly remember his mother dropping him off for Sunday school when he was around 8 years old He doesn't remember being very happy there but after those younger experiences he always felt a pull a push a sense of calling that he could not define nor give a face
Steve was of a average sporty build a professional a joker and a crap disturber he always struggled with the love of food and the pain of excercising
Across from Steve was a guy a guy from the other side of the tracks He called himself "King Theo," from his days as a devote gangster in the local hood of taggers and weed distributers Theo was the shortest of the five at 5'0" but wore the largest clothes His salt and pepper facial hair showed the age of the man that looked so young He had on large fake diamond studded sunglasses and a green hoodie slung over his head
Theo's additude is serious about everything from politics to bottled water and even to where his neighbour should place his garbage on a Monday morning
