We are masters of the unsaid words, but slaves of those we let slip out. ~Winston Churchill

Night on the Couch

Livi is the funny one who plays with a tree. She has a blue nose and two eyes and likes her cat named Notch. She loves playing with her brother because he smells like chocolate. He has blonde hair like her and teeth just like her. They are 17 months apart but act like twins.
They are not excited for Christmas at all. They love to sleep in and make breakfast before ever opening one gift. Mom and Dad, that is me and Angie, always have to force them to open gifts for Christmas.
Kaeden eats toast and Livi eats eggs on Christmas day because it reminds them of the wheat of the fields and the chickens that once lived in the house when Mummy and Daddy first got married.
Angie loves this song that is on the computer right now, 5:52pm. You can't hear it but it is awesome.
Kaeden is playing with a sword and attacking the air.
Livi is smoothering Notch as he screams for help and pines for the ability to get away.

Triple History

It was a hot snowy night. The family headed to the annual Canadian Pacific Holiday (Christmas) Train in the old Town of Notch Hill.

The train was lit up with green, red, and white lights in traditional patterns of candy canes and trees. On the train was Santa, himself, and the mysterious singer named Valdy.

We laughed," Who is Valdy?" The generation that hit their prime 25 - 35 years ago were shocked by this revelation.

The show started, Valdy kicked it folk style and the crowd went crazy. He wrapped it, stacked it, and brought Santa home, just as the snow started to fall.

On that hot winter night we discovered Valdy, a historic singer on a historic train, in the historic town of Notch Hill.

Christmas Tree

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas Tree
How tough you are to bring down.
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree
Your needles fall on all my ground.

You are a pain, I have to plee
You made me saw while my knuckle bleed.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree
You fill my living room nicely!

The next Adventure Movie

The adventure began as any other adventure.
It was a dark winter morning, the fuzzy sound of an out of tune radio crackled with the news of an economic up turn.
Swinging myself to the edge of the bed, I flicked the switch of the alarm and reassured myself that the economy is not improving.

Crawling out of bed I searched for my glasses, threw on a shirt, and strolled to the bathroom to expell the liquid of yesterday. My body was happy.

Next stop was downstairs. Here is where the adventure really takes flight. I but on my Livestrong shoes and ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes. To take my mind off of the monotony of running in one spot, it zoned out to the strange reality of Mike and Sully trying to get a human girl back to her room, only to find out that they had found the new nuclear energy of the 21st Century... Laughter!

After sweating out more of yeaterday's liquid, I walked up stairs and washed my body like an "Old Spice" commercial and than dressed myself like an episode of "The Dr.'s."

Putting on my coat and shoes, I hopped into my automobile for a highspeed chase to work. At an exciting 100kms I cruised down the #1, out running no one, but... well no one at all.
Work brought 7 mini adventures, all consisting of me battling bad breath and the evil world of plaque and gingivitis. If there was a sound track, it would have been, "Welcome to the Jungle," by Guns and Roses.

After work I cleaned up from my adventerous day and drove home.

No one got kidnapped, I didn't rob a bank, or save the world from terrerism. No meteor came crashing down, and my kids didn't come up with the cure for cancer. I had a day just like any other day and still as I type this I remain dressed in my work clothes of adventure.

Today

My heart finally mended from the Canucks break down and failure to win the Stanely Cup.

Vancouver Canucks

Today I hate the Canucks. Will I stop cheering for them... No. But after two games were they show no heart, determination, and grit to want to win, it drives me to hate them.

Luongo is a great goalie but Chicago has his number and he has not played good enough to earn the start for next game. Throw Schneider in there, he has been awesome all season, and give Luongo a breather!!

GO Canucks GO!!

A Month

One month has past since I last passed some gas
and my life keeptumpling forward.

I work 4 days a week
because I love to make people shreek.

I celebrated my Birthday
in a feast to the East.

Both my families were there
so I could not swear.

The snow is all around
and our dog likes to make it brown

Christmas came and went
and yes, I sure was spent.

My sister in law spoiled us
because she bathes in oil nut.

Professor B Fuller was silent night
and wrote of the reindeer's plight.

New Years was great
with friends at the coast.

Angie's Birthday was lovely
just like here hubby.

School and work arrived again
and I came down with a cold
which finally broke today
and now I can go play.
